Job Overview
We are seeking a commercially astute, relationship-driven, and results-oriented Key Account Manager – Corporate & Fleet Sales to manage and expand strategic corporate accounts in Manama, Bahrain. This role is responsible for developing long-term partnerships with corporate clients, driving fleet sales growth, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
The Key Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor to corporate customers, offering consultative sales solutions tailored to fleet requirements, operational needs, and budget objectives. You will manage the full lifecycle of corporate and fleet accounts, including contract renewals, upselling opportunities, pricing strategy, and coordination with internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate automobile sales, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to manage complex, long-term fleet contracts while consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate and fleet accounts
• Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and fleet managers
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts
• Maintain deep understanding of each client’s fleet needs and business objectives
• Ensure consistent engagement and account development
Corporate Fleet Sales Development
• Identify and pursue fleet sales opportunities within existing and new corporate accounts
• Develop customized fleet solutions aligned with customer requirements
• Drive bulk vehicle sales, replacements, and fleet expansion programs
• Support clients with vehicle selection, specifications, and delivery planning
• Achieve assigned fleet and corporate sales targets
Upselling, Cross-Selling & Account Expansion
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across vehicle models, services, and solutions
• Promote service contracts, maintenance packages, and extended warranties
• Support introduction of new models and mobility solutions to existing clients
• Expand account value through strategic engagement and solution selling
• Drive long-term revenue growth from key accounts
Contract Management & Renewals
• Manage long-term fleet contracts and service agreements
• Lead contract renewal discussions and negotiations
• Ensure commercial terms align with company pricing and profitability targets
• Monitor contract compliance and customer obligations
• Coordinate amendments, extensions, and upgrades to existing contracts
Pricing Strategy & Commercial Proposals
• Prepare pricing strategies and commercial proposals for corporate clients
• Develop competitive pricing models in collaboration with finance teams
• Balance commercial competitiveness with margin objectives
• Present pricing structures, payment options, and financing solutions
• Support management approvals for special pricing and deals
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
• Conduct regular client meetings, reviews, and performance discussions
• Present sales proposals, fleet reviews, and strategic recommendations
• Build trust and credibility with senior client stakeholders
• Address client concerns proactively and professionally
• Represent the organization with high standards of professionalism
Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with finance, operations, logistics, and aftersales teams
• Ensure smooth coordination for vehicle delivery, registration, and handover
• Support aftersales teams with fleet servicing and maintenance coordination
• Align internal teams to meet client expectations and SLAs
• Ensure seamless end-to-end customer experience
Customer Satisfaction & Retention
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and service performance
• Address service issues and escalations promptly
• Ensure clients receive timely support throughout the fleet lifecycle
• Build loyalty through proactive engagement and value-added solutions
• Maintain high retention rates across key accounts
Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and account forecasts
• Track sales performance, revenue, and contract milestones
• Prepare account reports, forecasts, and management updates
• Use CRM systems to manage client data and sales activities
• Support senior management with insights and growth strategies
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
• Identify new opportunities within corporate and fleet segments
• Provide feedback on market demand and customer preferences
• Support development of corporate sales strategies
• Contribute to long-term business planning
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
• Identify risks related to contracts, pricing, or delivery
• Proactively manage issues affecting account performance
• Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams
• Escalate critical issues appropriately
• Ensure transparency and professionalism in issue handling
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
• Improve key account management and sales processes
• Support adoption of CRM tools and reporting systems
• Share best practices and lessons learned across teams
• Contribute to development of corporate sales playbooks
• Support mentoring of junior sales team members
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field
• Professional sales or account management training is an advantage
• Strong understanding of corporate and fleet automobile sales
Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate automobile sales or fleet sales
• Proven experience managing key corporate accounts and long-term contracts
• Strong exposure to fleet renewals, pricing, and account growth
• Experience working with corporate procurement and fleet management teams
• GCC automotive sales experience is preferred
