• Implement effective inventory control procedures to improve accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and maintain data integrity
• Oversee stock reconciliation processes between physical inventory and system records

Replenishment & Distribution Strategy

• Design and manage replenishment cycles based on demand forecasts, sales trends, lead times, and store capacity
• Allocate inventory efficiently across stores and regions to maximize sales and minimize lost revenue
• Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to support new product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
• Ensure optimal warehouse-to-store distribution planning to meet store-level demand requirements

Supplier, Warehouse & Logistics Coordination

• Act as a primary point of contact between suppliers, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and order accuracy
• Resolve supply disruptions, delivery delays, and inventory discrepancies proactively
• Work closely with warehouse teams to optimize storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory handling processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and logistics operations

Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency

• Control supply chain and inventory-related costs, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and handling
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational expenses without compromising service levels
• Improve process efficiency through standardization, automation, and system enhancements
• Support budgeting and cost analysis related to supply chain operations

Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Develop and refine inventory forecasting models using historical sales data, market trends, and business inputs
• Collaborate with commercial and merchandising teams to align forecasts with business plans
• Anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust replenishment strategies accordingly
• Support strategic inventory planning for peak seasons, promotions, and new store openings

Systems, ERP & Data Management

• Utilize ERP systems and inventory management tools to monitor stock levels, transactions, and supply chain performance
• Ensure accurate data entry, system configuration, and reporting standards are maintained
• Identify system gaps and support enhancements to improve visibility and control
• Train and guide teams on best practices for inventory system usage and reporting

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare detailed inventory, supply chain, and operational performance reports for senior management
• Track and analyze KPIs such as inventory turnover, stock availability, service levels, and cost metrics
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and management reviews related to inventory and supply chain operations

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with procurement, finance, merchandising, sales, and store operations teams
• Support store operations by ensuring timely and accurate product availability
• Guide and mentor junior supply chain or inventory team members
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
