Job Overview

We are seeking a highly creative, commercially driven, and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Manager to lead and elevate in-store visual presentation across our retail network in Dubai. This role is responsible for translating brand identity, seasonal concepts, and commercial objectives into compelling visual experiences that enhance customer engagement, increase dwell time, and drive sales performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong balance of creativity and commercial awareness, with hands-on experience managing visual merchandising strategies across multiple retail locations. You will work closely with merchandising, marketing, retail operations, and store teams to ensure that all visual standards are executed consistently, on time, and in alignment with brand guidelines.

This position plays a critical role in shaping the customer journey within stores and reinforcing the brand’s presence in a competitive retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution

• Develop, plan, and implement comprehensive visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand positioning, seasonal themes, and commercial objectives
• Translate marketing and merchandising concepts into impactful in-store visual presentations
• Ensure that store layouts, window displays, fixtures, signage, and product placement maximize visual appeal and sales potential
• Continuously refresh visual elements to maintain a dynamic and engaging store environment

Brand Identity & Consistency

• Maintain consistent brand standards across all retail locations, ensuring uniformity in visual language, storytelling, and presentation
• Ensure that all visual executions align with brand guidelines, tone, and customer experience expectations
• Act as a brand guardian by ensuring visual consistency across stores, campaigns, and promotions
• Adapt global or regional brand guidelines to suit local market requirements while maintaining brand integrity

Seasonal Campaigns & Product Launches

• Lead the visual execution of seasonal campaigns, promotions, and new product launches
• Coordinate timelines, materials, and execution plans for all visual rollouts
• Ensure timely installation and removal of visual elements in line with campaign calendars
• Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to support sales initiatives through strong visual storytelling

Store Training & Team Enablement

• Train store managers and retail teams on visual merchandising standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Develop clear visual manuals, guidelines, and execution checklists for store use
• Provide hands-on guidance and support during store visits to improve execution quality
• Build visual merchandising capability within store teams to ensure long-term consistency

Store Audits & Compliance

• Conduct regular store visits and visual audits to monitor compliance with visual merchandising standards
• Identify gaps in execution and provide corrective feedback to store teams
• Ensure high-quality presentation across windows, mannequins, fixtures, and floor layouts
• Maintain visual excellence across all locations, including flagship and high-traffic stores

Sales Performance & Commercial Impact

• Analyze the impact of visual merchandising on sales performance, customer engagement, and product sell-through
• Use sales data, customer feedback, and store performance insights to refine visual strategies
• Collaborate with merchandising teams to optimize product placement based on performance trends
• Support business growth by aligning visual merchandising initiatives with commercial priorities

Budget, Materials & Resource Management

• Manage visual merchandising budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of materials and resources
• Plan and control expenses related to displays, props, fixtures, mannequins, and visual tools
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and production partners for visual materials
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of visual elements for campaigns and store needs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, merchandising, retail operations, and buying teams to align visual plans with business objectives
• Support marketing campaigns with strong in-store visual execution
• Collaborate with store operations to ensure visual concepts are practical and operationally feasible
• Participate in planning meetings to align visual strategies with sales forecasts and promotional calendars

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed visual merchandising reports for management review
• Track execution progress, compliance scores, and campaign effectiveness
• Document best practices, learnings, and improvement opportunities
• Maintain updated visual merchandising guidelines and presentation standards


Qualifications & Educational Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
• Professional training or certification in visual merchandising is an advantage
• Strong understanding of retail presentation principles and customer behavior


Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, with exposure to multi-store environments
• Proven experience managing visual merchandising execution across multiple locations
• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or consumer retail is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with window displays, mannequin styling, and store layout planning
• Prior experience working in the Middle East retail market is an advantage
